After World War II, the Jewish community did an exodus, moving mainly to Brooklyn, and Lower East Side began to welcome its new inhabitants : the Afro-Americans and Latinos coming from Puerto Rico, attracted by the affordable rent and the friendly lifestyle that still exists there until today.This photo has been viewed 12088 times
